Alyssa started working at Cherish in March 2023 and became the lead family advocate in June 2023.  Alyssa graduated from Ball State University with a bachelor's in social work.  One of the things that Alyssa finds valuable is being genuine with the youth, family, coworkers, and multidisciplinary team that are present at Cherish during the forensic interview.  With the vast amount of years working in social services, Alyssa has fostered connections and professional relationships with many community partners who are called upon when a creative solution or resource is needed for the youth and families she partners with.  Alyssa's free time outside of work is spent enjoying the outdoors and attending her kid's activities and sporting events.
