Alex Turkupolis, B.S.

Family Advocate

WHO WE ARE

Meet Alex,

Alex graduated from Purdue University in 2014 with a degree in Human Services. Upon entering the workforce, Alex quickly discovered her passion for foster care and adoption. Alex has dedicated her life to serving children and families across Indiana while working for the Department of Child Services (DCS), Indiana United Methodist Children's Home (IUMCH), Wendy's Wonderful Kids (WWK), and several Licensed Child Placing Agencies (LCPAs). Alex was born and raised in Indiana, proudly referring to Hamilton County as home. Over the years, Alex has learned she enjoys working with both children and adults, but teenagers are her favorite. Family is everything to Alex. Alex is the oldest of three girls and sees her parents weekly. Outside of work, Alex enjoys attending concerts, playing video games (Fortnite and Super Mario are favorites!), outings to the cinema, and impromptu road trips with her boys.

FUN FACTS ABOUT ALEX

Favorite Concert:

To date, probably Falling in Reverse (September 2024). We attend a lot of concerts, but we found this one to be wildly entertaining and loved the pyrotechnics. I will always go see Papa Roach, Theory of a Deadman, and Five Finger Death Punch.

Fun fact, not many people know about you:

My dad's family is Latvian - that's where the last name comes from & I was born tongue-tied.

Favorite or Dream Vacation:

It is more about the journey than the destination for us, but a recent favorite was SoCal.
